Introduction

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

1. Account Information — Your name, email address, and other details you provide when creating an account.
2. Usage Data — Information about how you interact with the service, including features accessed, frequency of use, and interaction patterns.
3. Device Information — Device type, operating system, and browser type, used to optimize compatibility and performance.
4. Cookies — Small data files stored on your device to remember preferences and improve your experience.
5. Payment Information — Billing details handled by trusted third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
6. Media You Choose — Source videos, avatar photos, audio recordings, and related technical metadata that you explicitly submit for a lip-sync job. Browser-only preflight checks do not upload the files.
7. AI Script Inputs — When you use AI Script, the topic, use case, tone, language, and duration you enter are sent to OpenRouter to generate the requested text. Visemix does not persist those inputs or generated script text in its AI Script billing records.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• Process transactions and send related confirmations.
• Send technical notices, security alerts, and support messages.
• Respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud and abuse.
• Validate media compatibility, run an authorized lip-sync job, return its private result, and account for credits used by that job.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these limited cases:

• With configured service providers only for the data and operations needed to deliver the requested service.
• With configured storage and AI-processing providers only when you explicitly submit a generation request.
• With OpenRouter when you explicitly request an AI Script. This text-only feature does not send your photos, videos, or audio to OpenRouter.
• To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
• To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.

Data Security

When the service is accessed over HTTPS, account and media requests are transported over encrypted connections. Account access controls separate private job records, and generated media is stored in private object storage. No Internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Generated media is account-scoped and stored in private object storage. We do not publish source files or results as a public gallery. Browser clients receive only short-lived signed upload and download links; permanent storage keys and generation-provider result addresses are not exposed through the public job API.

Media Retention and Deletion

Local browser checks stay on your device. Uploaded source media, generated speech, and generated results are retained in active private storage for 30 days by default. Incomplete staging uploads expire after 24 hours. Account-export files expire after 24 hours, and each signed download link is valid for no more than five minutes.

You can delete a completed or canceled job before the default retention date, export your account data, or request account deletion from Settings → Data & Privacy. Account deletion revokes active sessions first, then cancels supported active subscriptions, removes private media and exports, and deletes account-scoped records. Limited transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, dispute, backup, or legal records may be retained when required by law or for a documented recovery period.

Chrome Extension

The Visemix Lip Sync Media Checker extension reads only the file type, size, duration, and dimensions of media files that you explicitly choose in its popup. This check runs locally in Chrome memory. The extension does not upload, store, retain, or transmit the selected files or their metadata, and it requests no Chrome or website permissions.

Selecting Open Visemix opens the Visemix website with campaign parameters that identify the Chrome extension as the referral source. The extension does not read or retain the resulting website analytics. Once you open or use the website, the other sections of this policy apply to that website activity.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, export, or delete your personal information. Signed-in users can use account settings or the private support ticket. If you cannot sign in, email support@lipsync.vip.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
